Florida – I am contracted through several insurance companies in the state of Florida through Headway and Grow Therapy platforms and they will bill your insurance for your services. If your insurance is not accepted or you are looking for couple’s therapy, I am considered an out-of-network provider which means you will be charged my full rate per session. You will receive a good faith estimate to explain the costs of your care.

Delaware – At this time I do not accept insurances in the state of Delaware so I would be considered an out-of-network provider, and you will be charged my full rate per session. You will receive a good faith estimate to explain the costs of your care.

Some insurance companies provide out-of-network benefits for mental health services, but it is rare to receive full reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to see if this is an option for your plan and the explanation and cost of your out-of-network benefits. If you choose to utilize those benefits, I would be happy to provide you a monthly superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement. Please be advised I will NOT communicate with your insurance company in any way to assist you in receiving reimbursement.

We meet via a video platform that is HIPPA compliant and confidential to protect your privacy. Online therapy offers the flexibility to have sessions in an environment where you feel safe and comfortable without the stress of a commute.

Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. This allows us to build rapport, gain momentum, and provide consistency. Over time, the frequency may adjust based on your progress and needs.

Your first therapy appointment is an opportunity to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. After you have completed the required forms and assessments to begin your therapy, we will conduct an intake session where we will explore your needs and set the foundation for our work together. We will collaborate and set treatment goals for our work together and determine the right frequency of sessions for your treatment.

The “No Surprises Act” became effective January 1, 2022, ensuring transparency in healthcare costs. Under the law, health care provides need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical service, including psychotherapy services. Please inform me if you do not have insurance or don’t plan to use insurance, and you will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

I require that clients cancel 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for my full fee if you provide less than 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation or do not show up for your scheduled appointment. This is necessary because the time is reserved specifically for you. If you are using insurance, this fee will not be covered by your insurance.

If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 988, 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
